Speed up your bike leg and transitions with Mavic's triathlon-specific Tri Helium shoes. They boast super-stiff carbon outsoles for optimum pedaling efficiency, low weight, and zero water retention. Their synthetic uppers with mesh panels resist stretching and breathe to keep your feet happy even during Ironman distances. Ergo Fit SL insoles mold to the shape of your feet and are super comfortable, even when barefoot, and the heel loops make for quick and easy on/off. Plus, these sweet shoes have Easy-On straps for rapid transitions, heel cups for a snug, secure fit, and bonded toe caps for protection and durability.
Mavic's Energy Lock heels are reinforced with carbon-injected panels, an ingenious and super-light way to ensure an excellent fit, guarantee no slippage and maximize your pedal power.
This manufacturer's chart helps you check the fit (may show unavailable, and/or not all sizes).
In order to mount your pedal cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns (pedals come with cleats, shoes come without). There are three configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD. Road shoes feature one, two or even all three of these. Mountain-bike shoes usually use the SPD pattern. If you're unsure what bolt pattern your equipment uses, please contact us. We're here to help!
